Similar to King Gizzard anything this band releases is pure gold. I remember finding them a couple of years ago during a not so eventful office day. I was instantly blown away, so as an avid "odd" music collector I did my research, and came to the conclusion that this is one of the greatest band of all time. I just wish I could get a physical copy. Oh well, one day I will.

Mt Mountajn, for all of their distinctiveness, still continue to progress and evolve their sound. This is a sinewy, slightly leaner beast than previous releases. The songs are briefer, slightly more melodic; perhaps the influence of Stephen Bailey’s solo explorations? The songs are still iterations of tension and gloom. Mt Mountain have honed their music into a uniquely powerful form of minimalist psychedelic brutalism. Theirs is a menacing, looping drone, always threatening to explode.
